Cancer Wellness Program earns well-deserved award at the 10th National Nursing Research Conference

On October 21, the 10th National Conference on Nursing Science was held in Hanoi with the participation of medical leaders, nurses and reporters from all major hospitals and medical universities in Vietnam.

The Cancer Wellness Program Vietnam research team is also honored to attend this year’s conference with the presence of Principal Investigator Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Huyen, Research Coordinator Bui Khanh Linh, and two Student Research Assistants Tran Ngoc Tran and Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngan.

In particular, Professor Debra Anderson from the University of Technology Sydney – who inspired us to carry out the Cancer Wellness Program Vietnam project – also attended and held the chair role in a symposium on the morning of October 21st.

At the conference, project representative – Thuy Ngan did a poster report on “Program to improve Physical Activity and Symptom Management for Vietnamese women after Cancer Treatment”. The report won the Fourth Prize and marked the first step for CWP’s contributions and values to the community.
